We offer group accommodations in spacious dormitories. There
are also several rooms with 2 or 4 beds for families.
Parts of the castle park and a sports field are available for your use.
The accommodations are perfect for school groups, language courses, sports groups, hikers
and family reunions.

of the castle at the bottom right of the photo.
We are 380 kilometers from Paris, 7 kilometers from the Puy du Fou and 70 kilometers from
Nantes airport.
You will marvel at the setting – the castle is classified as an 'historic monument'.
Ideal for school groups, self-catering, half-board and apartments for large families.
The accommodations at Flocellière castle are located in the Vendée –
in the heart of the Haut-Bocage Region – in the Loire Valley Region of France.

How to Get to the Château de la Flocellière
By Car
From Paris - 3 1/2 hours
Paris - Angers on the A-11 motorway/freeway then take the A-87 in the direction of La Roche sur Yon by highway. Take exit 28 to Puy du Fou, Pouzauges (D-27), then continue on the D-752 in the direction of Pouzauges until you reach Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure. At the traffic light in Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure turn left, following the signs to La Flocellière. In La Flocellière drive up to the main church and take a left facing the church doors into the rue du Château. The gates of the castle are located on the square of the town hall.
From Nantes - 1 hour
Take the A-83 motorway/freeway in the direction of Bordeaux. Then take the A-87 in the direction of Angers, exit 28 Puy du Fou, Pouzauges (D-27), then continue on the D-752 in the direction of Pouzauges until you reach Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure. At the traffic light in Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure turn left, following the signs to La Flocellière. In La Flocellière drive up to the main church and take a left facing the church doors into the rue du Château. The gates of the castle are located on the square of the town hall.
From Bordeaux
Take the A-10, then the A-83 at exit 6 following signs for Chantonnay.
Then go in the direction of Pouzauges, Cholet and La Flocellière. At the church in
La Flocellière turn right to reach the castle.
Note: At the toll road you often need change, there may not be any personnel and international
credit cards are often not accepted.
By Train From Paris
From Charles de Gaulle airport or Paris Montparnasse train station to Angers on the high-speed TGV train. It takes just one and a half hours. In Angers you can hire a car and drive to the castle, or continuing by train, go to Cholet, which takes one hour. In Cholet you can get a taxi or make arrangements with us to have a taxi waiting for you.
